I grew up in Louisville, KY. I was involved in art in junior high school and high school. Since you "couldn't make a living as an artist" I had a career in technology and drew for fun. I discovered pastels in my fifties, which was nice for conbining drawing and color. Most recently, I have been painting with watercolors.
